Ramona Wright

Founder & CEO

Ramona Wright, Founder & CEO of WrightOne Media Group,is a third-generation entrepreneur, highly accomplished communication strategist, and philanthropist. She is a recipient of the  President’s Lifetime Volunteer Service Award, the highest civil honor bestowed by the President of the United States in recognition of her commitment to service and volunteerism. 

 

Ramona’s personal journey is marked by resilience, overcoming homelessness during childhood, and becoming her family’s first college graduate. She has since emerged as a TEDx speaker, Telly Award-winning producer, author, social media marketing trailblazer, and former lecturer at heralma mater, Loyola Marymount University,where she attended the School of Film and Television. 

 

She is a highly sought-after advisor and speaker who has spoken at events affiliated with the American Heart Association, Cornell University, and Google. Her commentaries, speeches, and creative works have been featured in Black Enterprise and Journal of Popular Film and TV. 

Ramona serves on the non-profit board of Everybody Eats. Her philanthropic efforts have garnered recognition from the Global Good Fund and in 2022,

she was honored along with rapper Trinidad James, for their support of Love My Neighbor Foundation. 

 

Ramona was named a SUCCESS® Magazine " 2025 Women of Influence", featuring Mel Robbins, and 49 other trailblazing women shaping our world.

  • Co-founder of the MojaMoja Music Awards, a charity event established in 2009, benefiting STEAM education and platform for Grammy Award-winning

       artists Anderson.Paak, Lizzo, and Janelle Monáe early in their careers.
